In 2025, Jake was invited to curate a special body of work for a second exhibit at the Cain Center. This exhibit showcased a variety of his artistic range from functional pieces like candlesticks, stemware, vases, and bowls to decorative works of art such as paperweight hearts, a rondel mandala, and large multidimensional wallflower branches. This exhibit titled, “Our Second Date” explores the romance, curiosity, and elegant forms one might encounter on a second date — captured entirely in glass. From flirtatious gestures to blooming emotions, Pfeifer’s pieces turn moments of connection into breathtaking, molten art.
