HGA x Courage Unfolded
Courage Unfolded is a podcast dedicated to amplifying the stories of those affected by sarcoma cancer. Hosted by Katrina De Grat, Courage Unfolded was founded after Katrina lost her brother, JJ, in 2020 to metastatic Ewing Sarcoma. “JJ's story is the heart of Courage Unfolded. His memory drives our mission to ensure that no one faces cancer alone — and that every patient, especially those like JJ facing relapse and chemo-resistant disease, has access to cutting-edge research and clinical trials that could change their outcome.” Whether those stories are from patients, survivors, caregivers, or doctors, Courage Unfolded aims to connect listeners through honest conversations that build awareness, connection, and hope.
HGA’s head artist, owner, and survivor of childhood sarcoma, Jake Pfeifer, was invited as a guest on Courage Unfolded to speak about his own personal journey of battling cancer and how his experience shaped his glassblowing buisness.
