John Shoemaker
John Shoemaker is a glass artist, builder, welder, and designer based out of Asheboro, NC. His personal brand, Apothecary Architecture, appropriates design elements derived from antique and scientific glass forms, seeking to elevate these features to create a modern aesthetic and conceptual content.
Working in hand-blown glass, woodworking, and metal fabrication, Apothecary Architecture is an evolving and adaptable framework through which ideas about the convergence of science, mathematics, and art flow.
