For April’s Open Demo Event, HGA is proud to invite artist, Peter Jacobsen, to our studio! Jacobsen is a Tacoma-based artist who specializes in glasswork that captures the aquatic life of the Pacific Northwest. He is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in Craft and Material Studies with a focus in glasswork. With 14 years of glass experience, Jacobsen's work aims to illuminate the intricate beauty and thriving nature of aquatic communities, drawing thought-provoking parallels to our own societal dynamics.

Join us for a live glassblowing demonstration @ 6-9 PM where our hot shop team will assist Jacobsen in making 1-2 sculptural pieces in front of a live audience! Snack and beverages are provided with no reservation or ticket necessary for entry.
