Frequently asked questions.

What is your refund policy?

We do not offer refunds, all sales are final. For classes, you may reschedule for free if it is before 48 hours of your appointment. If you do not wish to reschedule, you may have a gift certificate for the amount you deposited. If you cancel the day of your appointment you forfeit your down payment and will not receive it back. We have scheduled an artist to work with you and we have guests on waiting lists for spots to open up.

How do I book a class at HGA/how far in advance should I book?

You can book any of our classes by giving our gallery a call and speaking with an attendant who will gladly get you on our schedule! To officially book, we ask for a deposit (depending on the type of class) which will be processed over the phone. We are booked out anywhere from a week to a month in advance so we recommend checking our calendar for our current availability.

What is the dress code for taking a class?

We also ask that all long hair be tied back, all clothing be cotton or natural fibers (no acrylics or synthetics), & all footwear be closed-toe. No jewelry that hangs off the body. Short pants and short sleeves are acceptable as it does get warm in the shop, but long sleeves and long pants do provide protection against direct heat.

What other additional information should I know before I take a class?

We ask that you arrive 15 minutes early so you'll have time to fill out your safety waivers & pick out the colors/design for your glassware. We also ask that all long hair be tied back, all clothing be cotton or natural fibers (no acrylics or synthetics), & all footwear be closed-toe. You will not be working with any tools or materials without an instructor present. The studio can get very hot (especially in the Summer) so please come hydrated & drink water throughout your time here.

Do you offer repairs?

We typically do not offer any type of repairs. Please understand that the cost may be more than the piece is worth & it likely will never look like the original.
